PUBLIC NOTICE: PLEASE NOTE
Camping space at Lake Paluma is very restricted due to the Camping Area's location within a World Heritage Wet Tropics Area and its proximity to a drinking water storage area. The Camping area is designed primarily for tenting with sites isolated by bollards and only limited access in three sites for small camping trailers and small camper vans. Unfortunately we cannot provide suitable space for caravans and motorhomes. The Department of Environment and Resource Management's facility (National Parks) at Big Crystal Creek can accomodate larger vehicles and this could be a suitable alternative.
